Eagle Community Centres’ Annual General Virtual Meeting

SUNDAY, JANUARY 30TH, 2022 – 1:00PM VIA ZOOM

2021 has been a challenging year for the Eagle Community Centre and unfortunately 2022 has not started off on a positive note with rental cancellations and event restrictions, but we will persevere through this challenging time.  Your support of this 127 year old historic building is vital to its continued success. Each year we host community events and fundraise to ensure the Centre is well maintained. By assisting us financially, volunteering at events, participating on the Board, renting the facility or attending our events, you are making a difference.
We are investing in an expensive project to complete necessary repairs to the foundation. Fundraising is vital! If you have any fundraising ideas, please let us know.
We hope you can join us for our virtual meeting by contacting me for the link. Thank you for your support.

At our Annual General Meeting in February 2021, Bonnie Rowe, Councillor with the Municipality of West Elgin, announced we were the successful recipients of a $10,000 Community Grant for foundation repairs to our historical Centre. Thank you so very much for your continued support!

In October 2020, the Eagle Community Centre received a $10,000.00 grant from the Green Lane Community Trust Fund to assist with building repairs. Thank you so much as we take one step closer to achieving our project goal of $38,000.

Through fundraising and donations the ECC has raised $5,150.00 towards this project.

The Eagle Community Centre was proud to sponsor Tori Acres as a candidate for the Rodney Aldborough Ambassador of the Fair Competition in 2019. Tori won the competition and will proudly continue to wear the crown for 2020/2021. She will attend events, public speaking engagements and represent the fair at the provincial level. Congratulations Tori!
